Brave Dog Class

Class Overview

Brave Dog Class is $166 for 5 group classes and meets once a week for 5 weeks. No class May 25. Brave Dog Class is all about increasing your dog's confidence in himself, you, the environment, other people and other dogs. We do a variety of activities to increase your dog's skills, your skills and work towards real-life successes. Dogs should comfortably eat treats in a group class environment as a pre-requisite before taking this class. If your dog may not eat well, reach out and we can help guide you on the best next step. This class is for dogs who may be slower to respond, shy, hesitant or reluctant in situations. If your dog displays fear by growling, barking or lunging - take a look at our (re)Activity class or private coaching as a more appropriate starting piont for your dog. Next Steps: Some dogs repeat this class. Others sometimes go onto Core Skills, Intro to Agility, Intro to Scent or other specialized training. Class Prerequisites: Dogs should be 16 weeks of age or older. Dogs must be current on required vaccinations, which are outlined by age in our Vaccination Policy on the FAQ page. Dogs should be able to eagerly eat treats in a group environment. Dogs should not bark/lunge at people or dogs.
