Are you interested in getting your dog involved in nose work? Our next introductory scent class is the perfect opportunity to dive into this fun and rewarding activity. In this class, your dog will be introduced to their very first scent—birch—and you’ll both learn a series of exercises designed to develop your dog’s search skills.
Throughout the 75-minute session, you and your fellow classmates will work through a variety of exercises, starting with basic scent identification and gradually advancing to more challenging tasks. You’ll not only learn how to teach your dog to search for birch, but you’ll also take home birch and other tools so you can continue practicing after class. You’ll even learn how to store the birch properly to ensure it's ready for future training.
The best part? Nose work is an activity that any dog can enjoy—regardless of age, breed, or size. Whether you have a young pup or an older companion, this class provides an engaging and mentally stimulating way to bond with your dog.
Want to see nose work in action? Check out our video featuring Dingo, a 14-year-old dog, demonstrating one of the class exercises! When Dingo successfully identifies birch in the colander, he’s rewarded for his effort. And if the scent isn’t in the first location, he learns to continue his search, honing his detection skills in the process.
Our introductory scent class is a fun and interactive experience that offers both mental stimulation and physical engagement for dogs of all ages. Don’t miss out—join us and let your dog explore the world of scent detection!
