Is Separation Success Right For My Dog?
Our Separation Success Program is designed for dogs who have a primary behavior focus of separation distress and may show signs of this by chewing, barking, eliminating, or frantically pacing the house when separated from you.
If your dog shows reluctance in consuming treats in unfamiliar surroundings or is reactive (bark/lunge) towards people or dogs, your separation behavior will be best addressed through private coaching. For best results, we recommend you discuss your dog's stress level with your vet.
Separation Success Program Description
In Separation Success, we will do activities each week to build your dog's confidence, work on separation using a pen or gate, discuss your personalized homework, and spend time on dog body language, your progression plan, and more. The most important part will be the homework that you do at home. Our group classes not only provide a cost-effective option but also offers targeted strategies to address separation distress, with techniques you can apply and gradually extend in real-life situations at home. You’ll have the added benefit of practicing these skills in a controlled setting and receiving feedback, all while receiving support from classmates who are navigating similar challenges.
Enrollment in our Separation Success Program is $300, which includes 5 group classes.
Group Classes
Group classes do not need to be taken in consecutive weeks, but we encourage taking the 5 classes within 7 weeks.
